“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8).

Dear God,
You have promised to be close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and right now I _________ (insert your name) need you. My heart is broken and I’m not sure what to do in this moment. You have instructed me to pray when I am suffering. (James 5:13). You have said to fear not for you are with me. You will strengthen me and help me. (Isaiah 41:10) I am choosing to trust you at your word understanding that I don’t see the future before me, but You know what lies ahead. I choose to lay this situation at your feet, trusting that You will sustain me. (Psalm 55:22) You said those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. (Psalm 126:5) Lead me and guide me as I navigate this difficult situation so that I end up walking straight into Your will for me. Help me to keep my mind stayed on you so that I am walking in perfect peace. (Isaiah 26:3) I believe that you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth, you will bring me up. (Psalm 71:20) I choose to trust You. Help me learn to trust you more every day. Thank you for hearing my prayer.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
