Life

Great discoveries are made by those who refuse to give up.  These are the people that we learn about in school.  Their tenacity has given them a place in the pages of history books.  When I think of tenacity, I think of Rosa Parks, Winton Churchill, Henry Ford, William Hershey, Coco Chanel, Malala Yousafzai and Harriet Tubman.  I’m sure that you have witnessed tenacity in your own life.  The truth is that tenacity coupled with courage and faith in the future is a game changer for anyone.

Louis Pasteaur said, “Let me tell you the secret that has led me to my goal.  My strength lies solely in my tenacity.”

I can remember a time in my life where the odds were literally stacked against me. When people would voice their concerns to me, I would say, “If I go down, I go down swinging”.  Do you want to know something?  I did go down.  I didn’t stay down.  Don’t give up on yourself.  You are not the first to face difficult situations or hardship and you certainly won’t be the last.

The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward.
